Onion paratha are delicious whole wheat flat bread stuffed with onions and few spices. This onion paratha stuffing is easy to prepare that bring out the flavors of onions while also softening it to make stuffing easier. It can be served as lunch or dinner. You can also pack with stuffed onion paratha into a kids lunch box along with curd/raita which helps in reducing the heat.

INGREDIENTS:
*For dough*
2 cup - Wheat flour
1/2 tsp - Salt
1 tsp - Oil

*For stuffing*
2 tsp -Oil
1 cup - Onion finely chopped
1 tbsp - Ginger & Garlic paste
1/4 tsp - Kashmiri chilli powder
1/4 tsp - Garam masala
1/4 tsp - Cumin powder
Coriander leaves


HOW TO PREPARE:
1. In a large bowl, add wheat flour, salt, oil. Mix well sure everything well combined.

2. Add water and start to knead dough. add more water as required.

3. Knead to smooth and soft dough.

4. Cover and rest for 25 minutes.

5. In a kadai, heat 2 tsp of oil add 1 cup finely chopped onion. Saute for a minute.

6. Add ginger garlic paste and all masala powder. Saute for 2 minutes.

7. Further add few coriander leaves and turn off the flame.

8. Onion stuffing is ready.

9. After 25 minutes, again knead the dough.

10. Take a small size from dough

11. Roll and flatten it also dust with some wheat flour.

12. 2 tsp of prepared onion stuffing in the center.

13. Take the edge and start pleating to center and flatten it again.

14. On a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.

15. Cook for both sides.

16. Finally  Stuffed Onion Paratha ready to serve with raita/curd or any curry.
