It is an easy variation and fusion custard dessert recipe is vermicelli recipe,known for its creamy and flavoured taste. It can be served either cold or hot. you may add any type of fruits like mango, pomegranate, apple. and also top with chopped nuts, and tutti frutti its so colourful.
INGREDIENTS:
Ghee - 1 tsp
Vermicelli - 1/4 cup
Milk - 2 cup (1/2 ltr)
Sugar - 4 tbsp
Saffron - 1/4 tsp (optional)
Custard powder - 2 tbsp
Milk - 3 tbsp
HOW TO PREPARE:
1. In a large pan or kadai, add 1 tsp ghee and 1/4 cup vermicelli, roast on low flame until the semiya turns golden brown.
2. now in a pan, add 2 cup milk (1/2 ltr) and add 1/4 tsp saffron
3. take a bowl, add 2 tbsp custard powder and 3 tbsp milk, mix well (lumps free)
4. pour in custard mix and stir continuously
5. now add roasted vermicelli and boil for 5-7mins until semiya gets cooked completely
6. then add 1/4 cup sugar and mix well
7. transfer to a bowl and refrigerated for 2 hours.
8. after 2 hours serve with some chopped mango, pomegranate and top with chopped nuts. and Enjoy!
