Milk cake also known as Tres Leches Cake. It is a sponge cake, topped with frosting. Milk cake is a trend now in this part of the world. The most trending two flavors are the rose milk cake and saffron milk cake. A recipe so good for your family will think you bought it from a restaurant!



INGREDIENTS
*For Cake* 1/4 cup - Oil 1/2 cup - Powder sugar 1 cup - Maida 1/2 tsp - Baking powder 1/4 tsp - Baking soda 1/2 cup - Milk Few drops of rose milk essence *For Frosting* 1/4 cup - Butter 1/2 cup - Powder sugar



How To Prepare:

1. In a large bowl add 1/4 cup oil, 1/2 cup powder sugar and mix well until fluffy

2. now add 1 cup All purpose flour (maida), 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda. Combine well

3. 1/2 cup milk (mix gradually) and few drops of rose milk essence or syrup.

4. transfer to the oil greased cake mould.

5. Pre heat your cooker for 5-7 minutes ( remove gasket and whistle)

6. after 7 minutes place the mould, cook for 40-45 minutes (low medium heat)

7. after 45 minutes cake cooked copletely, let it cool

8. now prepare for frosting, In a large bowl add 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 cup powder sugar. you can use icing sugar, mix well

9. now cake is completely cool down and remove from the mould

10. put some frosting, topped with some pistachio and rose petals. Enjoy!
