The burfi recipes are usually easy to prepare but this recipe of pista Cashew barfi is exceptionally easy. Cashew Pista Burfi is a popular sweet recipe that can be prepared on festivals and occasions like Diwali. During such occasions, our whole refrigerator is stacked with sweets bought from outside.


But what if we tell you that you can prepare these sweets at home as well. All you need is some cashews, pistachios, sugar, cardamom and ghee and you are good to go.

INGREDIENTS: *For Pista* 1/2 cup Pistachios 2 tbsp Sugar 2 Cardamom 2 tsp Milk a pinch of green food color (optional)

HOW TO PREPARE:
1. Into a blender add 2 tbsp sugar, 2 cardamom and grind it to a fine powder.

2. Now in the same blender add 1/2 cup pistachios and grind it to a semi fine powder.

3. Sieve both sugar and pistachios powder, now mix pinch of green food color to milk and add it to the pista powder and make a smooth and soft ball.

4. Now add 1 cup cashews and grind it to a fine powder, now sieve cashews powder and also add 1 tbsp milk powder

5. In a pan add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water, bring the sugar syrup to 1 string consistency. now add the cashews powder and cook for few minutes

6. Don't cook for a long time. Grease some ghee or use parchment and Let it cool for sometime.

7. Cut it into 2 halves, divide the pista ball into 2 and roll it. Cut into a small pieces

8. Finally our cashews pista burfi is ready to be enjoyed!
